Babcock operates an integrated Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental (QHS&E) Management System which is an integral part of our Business Management System (BMS).
The Babcock BMS includes:
a. Quality program compliant with ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems.
b. Environmental program compliant with ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System.
c. Health and safety program compliant with OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
The BMS is supported by the Risk Management Standards (AS/NZS ISO 31000:2009) and resides within an Intranet and is structured on core operations, engineering, business and support activities and capabilities.
Additionally, Babcock is a member of the Asset Management Council of Australia.

Calibration Centre ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 certification.
NATA accredited cleanroom (ISO class 7) facility for hydraulic and air maintenance.
Products and Services
Communications: Babcock provides a range of services which are fundamental to the operational success of our customers within the broadcasting and communications sectors.
Airport Baggage Systems: Babcock operates and maintains baggage-handling systems at some of the world's busiest airport terminals. With over 900 dedicated staff we are uniquely placed to design, build, upgrade, operate, maintain, manage and improve your baggage-handling systems.
Military Training: Babcock is the largest provider of training to the UK MoD, responsible for design, planning, delivery, support and maintenance of training assets and management of the training environment. At present, Babcock delivers 40% of all Armed Forces individual training. We have 14 years experience of working with the British Army and over 70 years experience with the RAF. For the past 15 years we have been the number one training and support provider to the Royal Navy.
Equipment Availability and Management: From parts to nuclear submarines, Babcock ensures the availability of critical assets through-life.
Vocational Training: The UK's Largest Provider of Work-Based Training. Delivering high quality government-funded and commercial training programmes within the workplace Babcock's training business is the UK's leading and largest work-based training provider of government-funded and commercial learning programmes. We manage the training of over 20,000 learners nationwide and work with over 6,000 employers across a variety of sectors.
Nuclear: Babcock runs five UK nuclear licensed sites, and its capabilities span the full lifecycle from design and build, through operation and maintenance, to decommissioning, waste management, and remediation.
Equipment Engineering Support: Our capability within equipment engineering support spans the public and private sector with customers including the Emergency Services, Highways Agency, Mining & Construction industry to the UK defence force.
Fire & Rescue Training: Babcock is the UKs leading training provider, working across a wide variety of sectors to deliver high quality training to the workforce of tomorrow.
Working within the Emergency Services sector, Babcock delivers world class training facilities, operational, management and back office training as well as administrative support.

Power: For over 80 years Babcock has provided an end-to-end service, focused on high-voltage overhead lines and steel lattice towers, for electricity transmission and distribution infrastructure throughout the UK.
Fleet Management: Babcock has a proven track record in delivering mission critical asset and fleet management to customers ranging from British Airways to the British Army. We work collaboratively with customers to design asset management solutions that best suit their individual needs.
Technical Training: Babcock Training delivers high quality; specialist training for some of the UKs most prestigious automotive manufacturers and independent motor traders. The key emphasis of our training is to enhance the skills of the workforce which we achieve through innovative methods of delivery. Our training courses are highly practical with each course being designed to offer true return on investment.
Rail: Babcock is a leading player in the UK rail infrastructure market and the largest conventional track renewals company in the country with a reputation for delivering quality engineering projects and the highest standards of safety.
Design & Technology: Babcock provides design, integration and management services to marine, oil and gas and defence sectors worldwide. With our extensive range of technical and support staff, proven design and management know-how and a range of configurable products and systems we support our customers from concept design to through-life management.
