Overview

Praetorian Aeronautics has been established with the mission to create an Australian-based defense 'Prime' capable of providing sovereign platforms and capabilities to the Australian Defense Force (ADF). The company is dedicated to developing a specialized family of unmanned aircraft systems tailored to meet the specific requirements outlined in the 2023 Defense Strategic Review (DSR), as well as other pertinent policy documents and statements.

The primary objective of Praetorian's development program is to deliver a comprehensive range of unmanned aircraft platforms that effectively address the emerging threats observed in recent global conflicts, including those in Libya, Nagorno-Karabakh, Syria, and Ukraine. Recognizing the significant impact of Unmanned Combat Aircraft Vehicles (UCAVs) or 'drones' on the conduct and outcome of such conflicts, the company seeks to provide offensive and defensive capabilities, thus responding effectively to the evolving landscape of drone warfare.
